By accessing or using Career Pilot ("the Platform", "we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all visitors, users, employers, and job seekers who access the service.
Career Pilot is an AI-powered job matching and CV optimisation platform that connects job seekers with employers. We offer automated CV rewriting, cover letter generation, job matching, and candidate discovery services powered by artificial intelligence.
For Job Seekers: Searching and browsing job listings is free. AI-powered job matching, CV rewriting, and cover letter generation require credits. The current rate is R10 for 5 AI-assisted rewrites. Credit bundles are non-refundable once used.
For Employers: Creating and listing job postings is free. AI-powered candidate discovery and matching requires credits at R50 per AI search session. Credits are non-refundable once consumed.
Pricing is subject to change with 30 days' notice. Existing purchased credits will be honoured at the rate at which they were purchased.
The Platform uses artificial intelligence to generate CV rewrites, cover letters, job matches, and candidate suggestions. All AI-generated content is provided as a starting point and should be reviewed and verified by the user before use. Career Pilot does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated output. Users are solely responsible for the final content they submit to employers or candidates.
Career Pilot makes every reasonable effort to avoid presenting duplicate job matches or candidate results across multiple searches. Our systems are designed to track previously returned results and exclude them from subsequent queries.
However, we cannot guarantee that duplicate results will never occur. Due to the nature of AI language models, real-time web searches, and external data sources, some overlap between search sessions may happen. This does not constitute a defect or breach of service.
If you encounter repeated results, you may use the "refresh" or "new search" functionality to attempt to retrieve fresh results.
Career Pilot supports CV rewriting and cover letter generation in multiple languages. The Platform will detect the language of your uploaded CV and produce output in the same language. While we strive for high-quality multilingual output, translation quality may vary across languages. We recommend reviewing AI-generated content in your native language with a professional if precision is critical.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide accurate and truthful information when creating your profile, uploading your CV, or posting a job. Career Pilot reserves the right to suspend accounts that contain false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
By uploading your CV and personal information, you grant Career Pilot a limited licence to process and use that data for the purpose of providing job matching and CV optimisation services. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Your CV text may be processed by third-party AI providers (under confidentiality terms) solely to generate matches and rewrites. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
Employers are solely responsible for the accuracy of their job listings. Job postings must comply with applicable employment laws, including non-discrimination requirements. Career Pilot reserves the right to remove any listing that is discriminatory, illegal, misleading, or otherwise in violation of these terms. Employers may not use candidate data obtained through the Platform for purposes other than evaluating candidates for their posted positions.
You may not use the Platform to: post fraudulent job listings; harvest or scrape candidate data in bulk; misrepresent your identity or credentials; upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringing; or attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the Platform's systems.
Career Pilot is not liable for any employment decisions made by employers or job seekers based on information or AI-generated content from the Platform. We do not guarantee job placement, interview invitations, or successful hires. The Platform is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for credits in the preceding 30 days.
All Platform branding, design, and underlying technology is the intellectual property of Career Pilot. AI-generated CV rewrites and cover letters produced for a user are owned by that user upon generation. You may not resell or redistribute AI-generated content produced by the Platform.
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved through the appropriate courts of South Africa, without prejudice to our right to seek injunctive relief in any jurisdiction.
